One of the oldest family-run new and used machine tool dealerships in Germany, Kirchgeorg Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH was founded in 1919 in Erfurt, Thuringia by Engineer Paul Kirchgeorg.
Kirchgeorg began as a representative and dealer for metal and wood working machinery, and quickly grew the company into a full service heavy equipment overhauler and used machine tools and equipment dealership.
In 1953, as a result of expropriation attempts by the East German government, Kirchgeorg relocated the company to Fulda, Hesse in West Germany. In 1953 and 1960 he was joined by his sons, Harro and Reiner respectively, and the company entered another expansion phase.
In 1960, the first buildings were contructed at our present location in Dreieich and have since grown to include a 3,000+ square meter display floor.
With Thomas Kirchgeorg, Industrial Engineer, joining the company in 2003, we are pleased to say that our family-owned business is in its third generation.
Today, we offer more than 600 new and used machine tools on display in Dreieich. In addition to worldwide distribution, we offer individualized, expert advice and complete service. We can also assist you with obtaining financing, transportation, installation and instruction.
In our production facilities, all used machines are fully reconditioned, thoroughly tested and come with a guarantee. We also manufacture replacement parts, gears, gear racks and other actuation modules.
Our subsidiary, NASSOVIA Maschinenservice GmbH, has been providing authorized service for Schiess-Nassovia Cavity Sinking EDM machines since 1992.
We are member of the German Association of Machine and Machine Tool Wholesalers (FDM). |
